Just to let you know that you are in our prayers here in Illinois. Uncle Verne was a great guy and I am proud to have him as my great uncle!! He will be missed. I loved going to the dairy farm when I was little with my grandma. The best was when Howard, Verne and Ollie came here for my parent's 40th anniversary. They giggled like little boys remembering their past shenanigans! Love you all! He had a wonderfully long and fulfilling life. Hugs to Aunt Jeanne for me.

Verne was my absolute favorite resident when I worked at Three Oaks and I really enjoyed taking care of him. He was so gentle and easy going and also had a sense of humor! I also really enjoyed talking to and getting to know Jeanne who visited him quite often. My thoughts are with Jeanne and her family at this time.
