Ronald W. Watson, 65, Marshfield, died on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Ministry St. Joseph’s Hospital Palliative Care, Marshfield, with his family by his side. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield, with Rev. Mark Krueger officiating. Burial will take place in Hillside Cemetery. The visitation will be held on Friday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Saturday from 9:00 am until service time at Rembs Funeral Home. Ronald was born on August 15, 1946 in Marshfield, the son of George and Marie (Scherr) Watson. He was a 1965 graduate of Marshfield Senior High School. Ron was a loyal employee of Weyerhaeuser Company in Marshfield for forty seven years. He is survived by a son and a daughter, Michael (Dawn) Watson of Plover and Kimberly (Michael) Kope of Marion, WI. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Alexander and Zachary Watson. He is further survived by two sisters, Patricia (Clarence) Rogstad of Lakewood, CO, and Leatha (DuWayne) Miller of Eau Claire.
