Lylas L. Bean, 85, Stratford, died on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at Ministry St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, June 1, 2012 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Stratford. Rev. Eric Berns will officiate and music will be provided by St. Joseph’s Resurrection Choir. Burial will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Town of Eau Pleine. The visitation will be at St. Joseph’s Church on Friday from 10:00 am until service time.
Lylas was born on August 7, 1926 in Stratford, to Frank and Mary (Weber) Laessig. She was united in marriage to William N. Bean, Sr. on April 31, 1949 in Stratford. He died on May 25, 1986.
Lylas is survived by five sons, Ronald (Tanya) Bean, William Bean, Jr., David (Linda) Bean, Michael (Holly) Bean, and Patrick (Colleen) Bean. She is also survived sixteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter, Gail and two sons, Jim and Roger.
